They also appear in [[Cubixx HD/Challenges|Challenges]], most notably [[Cling On 1]] and [[Cling On 2]] where the enemies are required for completion of the stage.

Homers can be found on any cube face side floating in the air, and will latch on to the player after spotting them. Homers only attack the player if they are on the same face of the cube, and will let go only if they move to another cube face. Once latched on, a Homer greatly reduces the speed of the player, allowing other enemies like [[Mini Cubixx]] or [[The Fuse]] to attack. Multiple Homers can be present on the same side, which will decrease the speed even further. There is no way to defeat a Homer.

A Homer that has locked on to a player will have an exclamation point icon, indicating that they are about to move in. Sometimes, Homers will lose sight of the player and will stop their attack, indicating this with a question mark icon. Homers do not have a singular speed, and can sometimes move slowly across maps and sometimes move quickly.

The slowing effect of a Homer is not affected by the "Shield" power-up.
