Cubixx HD/Challenges
Challenges—always stylized as plural—are levels found in Cubixx HD. These stages must be unlocked by completing Arcade Mode levels, and typically revolve around meeting a set criteria for completion over just capturing enough space. All Challenges must be completed only on a single life. Meeting the criteria for the level but dying will still result in a loss. Each Challenges level has a set gimmick, with better or more difficult completion awarding a different medal type. The easiest to complete is Bronze, with Silver coming second and Gold as the "best" performance. There is a fourth, secret completion medal "Platinum" which is only unlocked after meeting the hidden criteria, usually a more strict version of the Gold medal. After completing a level at Platinum, the requirement for that level's Platinum barrier is unlocked, and is permanently shown on the level select menu and scoring menus.

Complete one MEGA long line. Your longest line will be recorded. |
| Surfing 1 |
Surf by cutting areas away from cube edges and ride them until you hit another cube edge. |
| Gotta Kill 'Em All 1 |
Kill all 10 Line Chasers as quickly as you can. |
| Cling On 1 |
Spend as much time caught by Homers as you can and complete the level. |
| Combo'd 1 |
Complete the level with as many high combos as you can. |
| Bright Spark |
Complete the level with the highest score you can. Watch out: The Fuse is fast! |

Get the highest score you can and complete the level with reversed controls. |

Survive for as long as you can before completing the level. |
| Rehab 2 |
Complete the level in as few lines as you can. |
| Speed Freak 1 |
Complete the level as quickly as you can with maxxed out speed. |

Complete the level with 6 long lines. |
| Gluttony 2 |
Complete the level while cutting out the largest areas you can. |
| Asteroid Shower 1 |
Complete the level and hit the target scores while under giant asteroid attack. |

Complete the level as quickly as you can, avoiding killing any Mini Cubixx. |

| Speed Freak 3 |
Complete the level as quickly as you can with maxxed out speed. |
